Toby Forrest first went to sea in 1991 and was predominantly on tankers as a deck officer until coming ashore in 2002 into a commercial position for BP in London. Having worked around the world for oil majors, traders, refiners and pooling companies, Toby has a significant experience, contact and exposure in the tanker space, as well as a short stint in dry cargo managing the entire freight and operations portfolio of a major mining company. Toby is a Master Mariner who enjoys the technical side and challenges of shipping, and regularly boors his partner when taking walks on the east coast of Singapore talking about all of the different ships at anchor.
